Enjoying nature together
After a short summer break, the Welcome Service Tirol invites you to a new highlight, an autumn hike in the beautiful Achensee region!
We will meet in Pertisau and hike from there to the Feilalm, one of the most beautifully situated alpine pastures in the region. After about 1.5 to 2 hours and an ascent of around 400 meters, we will reach our destination, which rewards us with breathtaking views of Lake Achensee. After a tasty lunch, we will make our way back to the starting point.

This invitation from Welcome Service Tirol is intended for qualified professionals, scientists and researchers who have recently moved to Tyrol from abroad (on a long-term basis) recently and are employed at a Tyrolean university or in a Tyrolean company.

Arrival at the starting point of the hike
We meet at the parking lot "Parkplatz Karwendeltäler" in Pertisau.
09:45 a.m.
Start of the hike to the Feilalm
The hike takes about 1.5 hours to reach the destination. Including a few drinking breaks, we will probably need about two hours. There are 400 meters in altitude between the starting point and the Feilalm. The total walking time (including return to the starting point) is 2.5 to 3 hours.

Time to relax and eat together.

Costs
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Costs for consumption, for example at the Feilalm, are to be borne by the participants themselves. Please note that card payment is generally not possible in the mountain huts!
Registration
Please register yourself and/or your partner online by September 25, 2024. The number of places is limited.
Please note that participation is only possible after written confirmation by the Welcome Service Tirol. We would like to politely point out that persons whose registration has been confirmed but who do not attend the event without canceling their registration will not be considered for further events.
Red mountain trails
The hiking tour includes red mountain trails.
Risk and responsibility
Participation is at your own risk and responsibility. Please note that each participant is responsible for his/her own adequate insurance cover, e.g. in the event of an accident (rescue costs, etc.).
Physical condition and hiking equipment
Good physical condition, surefootedness and suitable equipment are absolutely necessary. The necessary equipment includes (especially) good, suitable hiking boots (sports stores can give you detailed advice), weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection, sufficient drinking water and a small snack.
Weather
Please note that the hike can only be carried out in appropriate weather. Should it be necessary to cancel the hike due to bad weather, all participants will be informed by email.
How to get there
By car: Take the A12 Inntalautobahn to the Achensee/Wiesing exit and continue on the B181 to Achensee. In Maurach turn left to Pertisau and continue to Pertisau to the parking lot "Parkplatz Karwendeltäler" (toll booth). The parking lot is subject to charges.
Tip: Enter “Parkplatz Karwendeltäler” (Pertisau) as the destination in your route planner.
By public transportation: Enter your starting point and “Pertisau Karwendeltäler” as your destination in the IVB route planner and find the best option for you.
Children
This event is not suitable for children.
