Opening hours and public holidays

Store opening hours in Austria are regulated by law.

Opening hours

Usual grocery store opening hours are Mon - Fri from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (sometimes also 6:00, 6.30 or 7:30 pm) and Sat from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. The grocery store at the Innsbruck train station is open daily from Monday to Sunday from 07:00 - 21:00. Likewise some bakeries and tourist stores are open on Sunday. Food can also be bought at gas stations.
