Are you a highly qualified professional, scientist or researcher? Have you recently moved to Tyrol from abroad to work long-term in a Tyrolean company or at a Tyrolean university?

We are delighted that you are here and would like to invite you to a new event:

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the Welcome Service Tirol is organizing a guided tour of the Cistercian monastery Stift Stams (Stams Abbey), founded in 1273. Nestled in the picturesque Inn Valley between Imst and Seefeld, Stift Stams is one of Tyrol's most fascinating architectural monuments. The remarkable monastery houses a number of architectural and artistic treasures. Highlights include the magnificent basilica with its high altar designed as a tree of life and decorated with 84 sculptures from around 1610, the imposing Bernardi Hall (Bernardisaal), the peaceful courtyard Brunnenhof with its cloister, and a museum that illustrates the history and culture of the monastery. Let yourself be enchanted by the atmosphere and beauty of this unique place!

Following the tour, we would like to invite you to a relaxed get-together in the Orangerie Stams restaurant. There you will have the opportunity to make new contacts and exchange experiences.

We meet in front of Stiftskirche Stams (Stams Abbey Church).

The tour is in English.

Museum
Time to explore the museum individually.

Get-together at the "Orangerie Stams" restaurant
Time to meet new people and deepen friendships.

Costs
Participation in the guided tour is free of charge. Consumption costs are to be borne by the participants themselves.

Registration
Please register online by June 3, 2025. Please note that partners must also be registered if they wish to participate.

The number of participants is limited, which is why participation is only possible after receipt of written confirmation from Welcome Service Tirol. Due to the limited number of participants, we kindly ask you to reliably attend the event once you have received confirmation from the Welcome Service Tirol. If we receive more registrations than we have places available, we will endeavor to give preference to people who have only recently arrived in Tyrol and/or have not yet taken part in any Welcome Service Tyrol event. 

Cancellation conditions
Should you not be able to attend, we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible! This will allow people on the waiting list to attend the event.

Who is this invitation intended for?
This invitation from Welcome Service Tirol is intended for qualified professionals, scientists and researchers who have recently moved to Tyrol from abroad on a long-term basis and are employed at a Tyrolean university or in a Tyrolean company, as well as their partners. 

Partners and children
Partners are cordially invited to participate. Please register them together with you.
This event does not include a children's program.
