Get to know Innsbruck even better!
The Welcome Service Tirol warmly welcomes you!
As highly qualified professionals, scientists, and researchers who have moved to Tyrol from abroad to take up a position at a Tyrolean company or university, you enrich our region in many ways. To help you settle into your new surroundings, we invite you to events where you can get to know Tyrol’s culture, history, and way of life.
This time, we would like to invite you to a special discovery tour: a guided walk through Innsbruck’s Old Town. Together, we will explore the historic heart of the city and delve into its fascinating development from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Between late‑Gothic townhouses and magnificent Baroque palaces, you will encounter a living storybook that vividly connects Innsbruck’s eventful past with its unique present‑day character.
If the weather is nice, we look forward to rounding off the afternoon after the tour with a small ice cream and possibly spending some time together on the lawn in the Hofgarten.
We look forward to seeing you! Partners are, of course, warmly welcome. Please note that the tour is not suitable for children.
