Directions
By car: Coming from the city centre at the junction of Innbrücke/Innstraße (where the cinema “Metropol” is): Take Höttinger Gasse uphill until you reach Höttinger Kirchplatz where there is a large church. Turn left into Schneeburggasse heading west until you pass the pharmacy "Großer Gott" (on the left hand side), then turn right at the first intersection after the pharmacy. Turn right again at the following fork in the road and follow Planötzenhofstraße to restaurant Planötzenhof. There are sufficient parking spaces available there.

By public transport: The bus line (A) of the Innsbruck public transport company leaves, for example, every 15 minutes from the Landesmuseum in the direction of Sadrach/Allerheiligenhöfe. To arrive at Planötzenhof around 5 p.m., you could get on the bus at the Landesmuseum at 15:56 or at 16:11. Get off at the "Sadrach" bus stop and follow the directions below („Walk from Sadrach bus stop to Planötzenhof"):

>> More information about the timetable of line A
>> General information about public transport in Innsbruck incl. route planner can be found on www.ivb.at.

Walk from Sadrach bus stop to Planötzenhof: At the Sadrach bus stop, keep to the right and walk up Planötzenhofstraße. At the first larger right turn, there is a red-white-red barrier (usually open) on the left on a gravel path. Turn onto this gravel path into the forest and turn right at the next fork in the road. Follow this path (which is directly above the access road) until you reach Planötzenhof.

Note: The walk from the bus stop Sadrach to Planötzenhof takes about 20 minutes. It is recommended to wear (weather appropriate) footwear and clothes suitable for hiking.
